Short answer: HarrowRx is a new e-prescribing destination for Harrow's branded eye care products, announced by PHIL and Harrow on November 2, 2026. Prescribers select HarrowRx in their EMR's pharmacy finder, and PHIL's pharmacy and patient-access infrastructure handles the prescription. The federal NPI registry lists HarrowRx as a pharmacy that is an organizational subpart of PHIL Pharmacy Solutions, LLC. For a pharmacy that already fills PhilRx transfers, it is a second PHIL-run pharmacy name worth recognizing by its identifiers.
What is HarrowRx?
PHIL and Harrow describe HarrowRx as a way for eye care providers to "e-prescribe Harrow's branded ophthalmic portfolio from one destination" inside their electronic medical record. The release says it covers Harrow's entire eye care portfolio. VEVYE is the only product it names.
The prescriber workflow is ordinary e-prescribing. According to the release, a prescriber searches for "HarrowRx", or its NCPDP ID 3694886 or NPI 1578473732, in the pharmacy finder of a connected EMR, selects it, and sends the prescription as usual. The release does not describe a fax or phone route.
Who runs HarrowRx?
The release says HarrowRx routes each prescription to PHIL's access infrastructure, and that "PHIL supports pharmacy operations and patient-access services for applicable prescription-benefit medicines."
The NPPES record for NPI 1578473732 fills in the pharmacy side. It lists HarrowRx as an active organization with the Pharmacy taxonomy, a practice address in Columbus, Ohio, an enumeration date of September 10, 2026, and a parent organization of PHIL Pharmacy Solutions, LLC. In other words, HarrowRx is a brand-named pharmacy record inside PHIL's own pharmacy organization, not a separate company.
Does HarrowRx change anything for PhilRx partner pharmacies?
Not on the public record so far. The release does not mention partner pharmacies, transfers, or how HarrowRx prescriptions are filled. It says only that "fulfillment options and patient-support programs vary by product and eligibility." PHIL's general model, covered in our PhilRx explainer, routes many prescriptions to partner pharmacies as transfers, but nothing published yet says HarrowRx works the same way. PillPilot, which takes in PhilRx transfer faxes at a PioneerRx pharmacy, has not seen a HarrowRx transfer.
What is useful now is recognition. If a transfer, a call, or a prescription history entry ever names HarrowRx, staff can confirm the source by NPI 1578473732 or NCPDP ID 3694886 instead of by name alone. That matches the identity-first habit in our guide to PhilRx transfers in PioneerRx: pick the transferring pharmacy's record by its identifiers, and add a new pharmacy record only when no existing one matches.
Why does a brand-named pharmacy matter to an independent?
HarrowRx is one example of a drug brand pairing its own prescribing destination with a direct-to-patient service run by a platform like PHIL. PHIL's press page lists several such programs from 2026, including dermatology and presbyopia programs. Each one can add a pharmacy name your staff has not seen before, even when the company behind it is familiar. Keeping a short list of these names and their NPIs at the transfer desk saves a lookup each time one appears.
